BIO
My name is Madeline Fusco, I am 19 years old and grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia. I started dance at a small competition studio where I trained in various styles. Although I danced competitively, my studio emphasized dance from a more artistic standpoint and encouraged us in developing our own sense of artistry. I took these values with me along my journey as a dancer. While training at my studio, my passion for dance flourished and I knew I wanted to make dance part of my future.
I attended the Governor’s School for the Arts throughout my four years in high school where I trained in classical modern and ballet techniques as well as jazz, contemporary, pointe, and African. I feel fortunate to have grown up in a community where the arts are appreciated and supported. As I embark on my journey through my first year as BFA at The Ohio State University I plan on persuing my love for dance and exploring the limits of my potential as an artist.
