My first semester in college I had the pleasure of performing in the faculty concert along side of eight other dancers. This piece titled, "An Answerless Riddle" was choreographed by Eddie Taketa in collaboration with the dancers. This collaborative experience between Eddie and the dancers allowed everyone to contribute to the choreographic process and have a chance to be themselves in the midst of an eleven minute piece. I feel lucky to have been a part of a piece where people from different places in their college career were a part of; our cast had a range of dancers from freshmen, like myself, all the way to a senior as well as an MFA.  I learned so much through this process from such a diverse and supportive group of dancers along with the ideas and experience Eddie shared with us. The opportunity to be in this piece was such a unique and unforgettable experience.
